Delete your DinDin account

You can request deletion of your DinDin account in the app or by email. DinDin is operated by Pinarci Consulting GmbH, Switzerland.Delete your account in the appOpen DinDin and go to My Account.Tap the three-dot menu (…).Select Delete Account at the bottom of the menu.Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm your request.Request deletion by emailEmail privacy@dindin.events with the subject “DinDin account deletion request”.Please send the request from the email address registered with your account. If you cannot access that email address, contact us for help verifying account ownership. Never send us your password or card details.You do not need to reinstall the app to request deletion.What happens to your data?Deleted or anonymisedYour profile information—including your name, profile photo, social links and preferences—is removed or anonymised, except for the limited records described below. Your personal lists, such as favourite restaurants and following lists, are deleted.Historical events, participant records and event messages remain. Your identity in participant-facing views is replaced with “Deleted user”. This does not automatically remove personal information you may have written in message text; please identify any such messages when contacting us.Limited records retainedWe retain only the information necessary for the following purposes:Financial records: transaction references, amounts, currencies, payment dates and statuses, receipts and any customer details required for accounting and legal obligations. Retention period: 10 years.Participant safety: a restricted record linking your supplied name, registered email and account reference to relevant events, participation status and payment references, to investigate incidents and misuse. Retention period: 90 days.Reported incidents or disputes: relevant evidence may be retained longer where necessary to resolve an investigation or meet legal obligations.Retained records are accessible only to authorised personnel who need them for these purposes. They are not visible to other participants or used for marketing.Processing timeAccount-deletion requests are normally completed within 30 days after any necessary ownership verification. Residual backup copies are removed within 30 days, according to our backup-retention cycle.Once completed, account deletion is permanent. DinDin Child Safety Standards

DinDin is a social dining service for adults aged 18 and over, operated by Pinarci Consulting GmbH, Switzerland. People under 18 are not permitted to use DinDin.Our standardsDinDin strictly prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sexual solicitation of minors, sexual extortion and child trafficking.Users must not create, upload, share, request or promote content or behaviour that sexually exploits, abuses or endangers anyone under 18. These rules apply to profiles, messages, events and all other uses of DinDin.Reporting a concernIf you suspect child exploitation, prohibited content or an underage account, please report it:In the app: My Account → three-dot menu (…) → Report incidentBy email: privacy@dindin.events, with the subject “Child safety concern”Please include the relevant account or event reference and a description of your concern. Do not download, attach or forward suspected child sexual abuse material.If a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.How we respondWe review child-safety reports promptly and take appropriate action. This includes removing child sexual abuse material when we become aware of it, restricting or terminating accounts involved in violations, and removing accounts confirmed to belong to people under 18.We comply with applicable child-safety laws and report confirmed child sexual abuse material to the appropriate regional authority or the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), as applicable.
